The Sacrament of Communion
Everyone is invited to join us for the sacrament of Communion the first Sunday of every month. Just as many grains of wheat are gathered to make a loaf of bread and many grapes are collected to make a cup of wine, we gather for this sacrament and are made one in the body of Christ, the church.

The breaking of the bread and the pouring of wine reminds us of Christ's sacrifice and the discipleship to which we are all called.  In the sharing of the bread and cup, we remember and celebrate Christ's presence among us along with a 'cloud of witnesses'  our ancestors, family and friends who have gone before us.  It is a great mystery; we claim it by faith.

Handbell Sunday
Held the 2nd Sunday of each month from September to May, Pilgrim Church is blessed with the music of the Pilgrim Handbell Choir during worship service. Under the able direction of Thom Dutton, the group performs the finest repertoire of sacred, classical and world music available, including a new technique called "singing bells." Their music is sometimes enhanced by other musical instruments, such as flute and piano. The choir owns a four octave set of Schulmerich handbells, in addition to a two octave set of handchimes.

Youth Sunday
Held on the 3rd Sunday of each month, Youth Sunday Service includes our youth as lay readers, ushers and acolytes. Pilgrim Church also has a strong youth ensemble orchestra, encouraged by our Music Director Fred Drifmeyer and supported by adult musicians, who perform the introit, postlude and accompany the hymns.
