A church wedding is not simply a civil ceremony in a beautiful setting. It is an act of worship held in a sanctuary that has been dedicated to God. The Pilgrim Church wedding ceremony is a part of the liturgy of the church and will include prayers, scripture and the sharing of the wedding vows. The music is also appropriate for a worship setting.

Our minister, Reverend Dr. Evelyn Lavelli will be happy to work with you as you plan for a meaningful and worshipful wedding ceremony. The ceremony is a rite of the church and final decisions on the liturgy rest with the minister. Final decisions on the music rest with the music director/organist.

Our main sanctuary has a center aisle (along with side aisles), accommodates over 350 people, and includes a balcony. If a smaller, more intimate setting is desired, our chapel will comfortably sit 50 people or less. A ramp provides disability access from both handicap parking spaces off Route 28 and from the parking lot at the rear of the church building. The balcony is accessed via stairs.

In addition, our minister sometimes officiates at weddings in other locations, schedule permitting.

The wedding date and hour should be set as far in advance as possible. Please call Carol Porter, Administrative Assistant and Wedding Coordinator, at the church office, 508-432-1668 ext.10, and tell her your preferred wedding date. If your date is available, a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required to reserve the date and time. She will send you Pilgrim Church's Wedding Manual, which gives details on arrangements and information on wedding fees, music, flowers, candles and photographs.

Please note, there are no Sunday weddings.

*When the bride or the groom, or the parents of either, are active members of the church, all of the proceeding charges apply, except the minister's fee is waived, and the use of the sanctuary or chapel is reduced to $100.00.
