Dr. Matthew Scinto comes to us from Boston where he is Assistant Conductor of the Boston Civic Symphony and received his Doctorate of Musical Arts from Boston University in Orchestral Conducting. In addition to studying at Boston University, Matt has studied conducting at the Tanglewood Music Center. Trained as a pianist and violist, he previously lived in Syracuse NY where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Having a strong interest in bringing more music to the Cape, Matt has decided to start the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra. The orchestra aims to bring more performances, music education, and special collaborations to the community.
